During the summer of 1998, I volunteered to scout for Sea Turtle nests on Sullivan's Island. I think I spotted one or two new nests over that summer. I brought my field kit out with me one day and sat down near Fort Moultrie to paint this after my scout walk as a storm was coming or going.
